More than 500 lawyers, including 45 judges and two Florida supremes, gathered at the breakers Saturday nights for the Installation Banquet of the new Palm Beach County Bar Association President Michelle Suskauer.
Suskauer, a criminal lawyer, is often used as a legal consultant on cable news networks. She replaces outgoing president Richard Schuler as the face of the Palm Beach legal community. The Bar Association has 3,000 members, more than half the total of attorneys in the county.
Seen at the dinner dance: Palm Beach County Clerk and Controller Sharon Brock; County Attorney Denise Nieman; Florida Attorney General hopeful Dave Aronberg; Florida Bar President Jay White; Statewide Prosecutor Bill Shepard; rookie judge and former corruption prosecutor John Kastrenakes.
